This is the Navy's bombproof power plant on Japonski Island. It is concrete with outer walls and roof 5 feet thick. It was built to survive a direct hit. It is boarded up today so you cannot get in. Last summer a barricade fell down and I got to look around. The wooden floors have collapsed. It was turned into a fallout shelter during the cold war.
